This policy explains what information Cramwise collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Cramwise is built to help you study — we only collect what's needed to make that work.
Account info: your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase). Your content: notes and photos you upload, plus the flashcards, quizzes, and decks generated from them. Study activity: streaks, cards reviewed, quiz scores, accuracy, and weak-spot data — used to power your Progress screen and study recommendations. Device & usage info: basic device information and push notification tokens, used to deliver reminders and keep the app working correctly.
To generate flashcards and quizzes: your uploaded notes and photos are sent to our AI processing pipeline to create study material for you. To track your progress: study activity is stored so streaks, accuracy, and weak spots stay accurate across sessions and devices. To send reminders: if you enable notifications, we use your device's push token to send daily study reminders you've opted into. We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded content to third parties.
Cramwise stores account and study data using Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider. Uploaded content is processed by our AI generation pipeline to create your flashcards and quizzes. These providers only process data on our behalf and under contractual data-protection obligations — they don't use your data for their own purposes.
If you purchase Cramwise Pro, payment is handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. Cramwise does not receive or store your payment card details.
We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your notes, uploaded photos, flashcards, quizzes, and progress data are deleted from our systems, other than what we're required to retain for legal or security reasons.
You can edit your profile information at any time from Settings. You can turn push notifications and daily reminders off from Settings. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us — see Contact below.
Cramwise is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
